Image Products is a leading supplier of award-winning digital inkjet canvas, fine art paper, giclee canvas and giclee coatings for canvas and fine art paper. We are focused on the fine art and photographic inkjet markets with products for Epson, HP and Canon Printers that lead the industries in colour and longevity.

In the mid 1980s Graham Nash and Jon Cone noticed the high quality output of the Iris ink-jet printers. They developed inks that gave fine art reproductions the longevity and color gamut they deserve. The Iris printer became the first one associated with museum quality fine art.

In the early 1990s Jack Duganne introduced the word giclee as a new term describing digital prints used as fine art versa's commercial digital prints. Since then giclee technology rapidly developed and became the number one choice for fine art reproduction by publishers, galleries, artists, and photographers.

If you are unfamiliar with the term "Giclee" pronounced "zhee-clay" meaning, it comes from the French verb "gicler" which means to spray or spurt. We have come a long way since the first usages in 1990 and it has become an increasingly popular printing technique. It can be used for reproducing original art or photography.

Giclee prints can refer to art or photography printed on canvas or fine art papers. For giclee prints or canvas art you can order through "Design Explosions".
